Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
At Robomous.ai, we want you to understand in a clear and straightforward way what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us through our contact form, why we use it, and what choices you have about your data.
We are a technology company based in Mexico focused on robotics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, and applicable California privacy laws.
If you have any questions about privacy or how we handle personal information, you can contact us at contact@robomous.ai.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
When you fill out our contact form, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name, if you choose to share it
- The content of your message
Information collected automatically
When you browse our website, we may also collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies, such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and operating system
- General device information
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- The website or link that referred you to us
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Interaction signals used to verify security and prevent abuse, such as certain browsing patterns analyzed by reCAPTCHA
2. How we use your information
We use your information mainly to help you, keep our website secure, and improve how it works.
In practical terms, we may use your information to:
- Respond to your messages and follow up on your request
- Communicate with you about the services or topics you contacted us about
- Protect our website from spam, bots, and automated abuse
- Understand, in an aggregated way, how people use the site so we can improve it
Responding to your inquiries and keeping the site secure are essential to how we operate. Analytics, on the other hand, is an optional use that helps us improve the experience. If you prefer not to be included in analytics, you can let us know or opt out directly (more on that in the cookies section).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making about you, and we do not build automated profiles that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and security purposes.
We use Google Analytics cookies to understand, at an aggregated level, how visitors interact with the site. This helps us improve content, performance, and the overall experience. We also use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our contact form and reduce automated or malicious submissions.
Cookies that may be used include Google Analytics identifiers such as _ga, _gid, _gat, and related session cookies, as well as reCAPTCHA cookies such as _grecaptcha, rc::a, rc::b, and rc::c. Analytics cookies may last up to 2 years; reCAPTCHA cookies are generally session-based.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies or alert you when a cookie is being stored. Please keep in mind that some website features may not work the same way if certain cookies are disabled. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google provides a browser add-on for that purpose. Where required by law, analytics cookies are only activated after you give your consent.
4. Third-party services
We work with technology providers that help us operate our website in a secure and reliable way.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited most often or how long an average session lasts. We use this information in an analytical and general way, not to directly identify you as an individual.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our contact form against spam and automated activity. This tool may analyze certain interaction patterns to distinguish legitimate traffic from abusive use. Robomous.ai is the party responsible for the information collected through reCAPTCHA.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Our website and part of the supporting infrastructure are hosted on Amazon Web Services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Robomous.ai operates from Mexico, but some of the services we use may process information in the United States, including services related to hosting, analytics, and security.
When that happens, we seek to ensure that appropriate safeguards and protections are in place in line with applicable law. These may include internationally recognized frameworks and contractual commitments between us and our service providers.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
In general:
- Contact form messages may be kept for up to 2 years, unless you ask us to delete them earlier and we are not required by law to keep them
- Analytics data may be retained according to the settings used by the analytics provider
- Information used by reCAPTCHA is mainly processed for security verification during the interaction
After the applicable retention period, we securely delete or anonymize the information, as appropriate.
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or improper disclosure.
These measures include encrypted connections, access controls, and infrastructure services with security standards widely used in the industry. Even so, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access your information, correct it, request deletion, limit or object to certain processing, and withdraw your consent when consent is the applicable basis.
Users in California
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of information we collect, request correction or deletion, and exercise opt-out rights where the law provides them. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We also honor valid privacy preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.
We will respond to requests within 45 calendar days, with a possible extension of 45 additional days if needed.
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected identifiers (name, email), commercial information (company name), and internet activity data (browsing information via Google Analytics). We have not sold or shared personal information.
Users in the European Economic Area
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also request data portability, restriction of processing, and object to certain uses of your data. You may also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. A list of authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
We will respond to requests within one month, with a possible extension of two additional months for complex cases.
Users in Mexico
If you are in Mexico, you may exercise your ARCO rights: access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition. To do so, email us at contact@robomous.ai and include your name, a way to contact you, a clear description of the data or right involved, and any information that may help us locate your request.
We will respond within 20 business days. If we approve your request, we will carry it out within 15 business days after notifying you. Both periods may be extended once if needed. You may also revoke your consent at any time, without retroactive effect, by writing to the same email address.
Our primary purposes for processing your data (responding to your inquiries and protecting the site) are essential to the service. Analytics is a secondary purpose, and you can opt out of it at any time by letting us know at contact@robomous.ai.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 16. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, or legal requirements change. When we make material updates, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top.
We encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
